Tuk-Tuk (Colombo) – these three-wheeled “tuk tuk” vehicles (which act as an informal taxi-like service, and resemble rickshaws) is perhaps the most convenient way of getting around Colombo. These drivers (many of whom speak English) will take you wherever you have to go. More of these vehicles are metered, and the fare is Rs 50 for the first kilometer, and Rs 30 for every additional kilometer.
